Simon Yin, The History Hustle

Simon Yin is an actor, director, and tv host from Atlanta, GA. He currently resides in Hong Kong where he co-founded his own production company, Mustard. On top of directing several commercials, music videos, award winning television and branded entertainment, Simon also directed his first feature film, Supercapitalist in 2011.

Turn the camera around and Simon’s chubbiness is what sets him apart from the rest. In Asia, Simon has hosted his own television programs including HISTORY Channel’s #1 show, Hidden Cities Extreme, nominated in 2014, for the Best Entertainment Programme and Best Lifestyle Programme (19th Annual Asian Television Awards). Simon, himself, was also nominated and won the award for Best Entertainment Host/Presenter in the same year. Simon was also fortunate enough these past years to have ticked off a bunch of items off his bucket list. He acted (and sometimes, off camera, tried to rap) with the legendary RZA in The Man with the Iron Fists 2 and also fulfilled his life long dream to be in a kung fu movie in Birth of a Dragon.

In his spare time, Simon likes to write underdog stories, watch movies, ride motorcycles, play basketball, buy cameras, play Destiny, read books, take epsom salt baths, expand his vintage watch collection (he currently has none), fight crime, cop retro Air Jordans, create havoc, daydream, live for the moment, and eat hot pot.

Harith Iskander

Harith Iskander, Celebrity Car Wars

Harith is considered as the “Godfather of Stand-up Comedy” in Malaysia. He has won several awards locally and globally including the Asia’s Best Stand-Up Comedian Award in 2014 and the prestigious and highly-competitive Funniest Person in the World award by the Laugh Factory.

Harith has nearly 3 decades of doing stand-up comedy up his sleeve. He was accidentally discovered in 1990 when he was asked to share some funny stories in an airport hotel lobby. A member of the audience got impressed and invited him to share more of his stories in various gigs or functions. More invites followed until he officially turned this into a lifelong career.

He has a degree in Journalism from Curtin University in Australia. As it turns out, instead of writing down his observations as a news article, he simply turned them into funny stories. That’s why his brand of comedy is authentic and relatable.
