Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis / Senior Finance Analyst

The individual will report to the Regional Head of Finance and be involved in the Company's financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and ad hoc projects/initiatives. He/she will play an important role in providing consultative and strategic support to senior management including preparing business review materials, financial presentations, capital/operating expenditure analysis, , content acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.

Responsibilities

Provide support and Manage the compilation and analysis of the Budget, Quarterly Forecast, Long Range Plan
Perform analyses on the Quarterly and Monthly Financials, identify and explain key performance variances, providing useful interpretation and insight to ensure complete understanding of the financials
Carry out analyses of current and past trends of the key performance indicators across all revenue streams, including programming costs and operating expenses, highlighting trends and analyzing the cause of any unexpected variance
Support in the improvement of the Company's performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and review ROI in content creation/acquisitions, marketing campaigns, as well as new and special projects
Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly management reports to the various departments/cost centers to compare financial performance against planned objectives
Support Senior Management with periodic management reports and preparing presentation materials
Support the Finance team with the implementation of SAP BPC system
Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required in support of business needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of experience in finance-related field and with at least 3-5 years in financial planning and analysis role with a MNC.
Work experience with a media company an advantage
Extensive experience and knowledge in financial forecasting and modeling, excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Sound understanding of financial accounting concepts and practices.
Good knowledge of financial statutory requirements and US GAAP reporting.
Highly analytical and organized, strive on accuracy and precision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adept at building relationships with all functional areas of the organization
Having a positive attitude, ability to think creatively, highly-driven and capable of delivering on multiple initiatives
Prior work experience with business applications such as SAP & BPC highly preferred

Human Resources Coordinator

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will manage the day to day HR Operations duties includes on-boarding, off-boarding, recruitment, maintaining HR records and supporting various HR activities. You are someone who has a high degree of flexibility, can operate effectively in a very fast moving environment and has a strong ability to multi-task under minimal supervision. You must be able to prioritize multiple assignments and have an understanding of how to best assimilate in a new group. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works extremely well with other people, can work autonomously, and is interested in growth.

Responsibilities

Maintain, upkeep and ensure timely and accurate update of HR/Admin database, all records are complete and treated in strictest confidence
Keep all information on HRIS and regularly keep global administer updated for employee movements
Responsible for arranging interviews for managers and post recruitment advertisement
Assist with maintaining payroll records for Singapore and regional offices
Assist Department Heads in searching and enrolling employees to external training, as well, coordinate trainings supported by Corporate
Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
Manage employment and work pass related execution
Administer online employee leave
Administer employee insurance program/enrolment, acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers
Reconciling insurance benefits statements
General HR administration, such as preparation of appointment letters, confirmation letters
Assisting with new employee hiring processes, preparing of new join staffs orientation kit such as sitting arrangement, IT/email setup, stationery, printing of name card
Participating in planning of company activities such town halls, staff gathering, and various company events
Provide administration and HR support to Director Human Resources

Requirements

Minimum 2 year in HR administration experience with knowledge of human resources processes and best practices advantage
Good time management, self-motivated and able work under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good attitude with a positive mindset and cheerful personality
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be independent, able to multi-task in a fast-paced Environment
Able to start work at short notice

Good sense of visual, sound, and design

Executive / Assistant Manager, Program Scheduling

Reporting to the Manager, Program Scheduling; you will be responsible for the strategic planning and scheduling for A+E Networks' channels, with the aim to build the brand, increase ratings performance of the channels, and maximize advertising sales opportunities. You will require a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the ratings performance and viewer trends in various markets, with an aim to maximize ratings across differing country tastes. You are someone who has a high degree of flexibility, can operate effectively in a fast moving environment, and has a strong ability to multi-task under minimal supervision. You must be able to prioritize multiple assignments and be extremely detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Manager on programs selection and provide feedback to the Acquisition team, ensuring that programs airing on the channels are appealing to our audience in Asia.
Strategic and long range planning of program premieres on both linear and non-linear platforms.
Create and maintain program inventory database in the channel management system (IBMS) and in Excel.
Create and maintain monthly program schedules, program change memos, edit synopses of programs and manage Electronic Program Guide Listings (EPGs).
Generate program ratings using various research software and analyze the data to gain knowledge of program performance, viewing trends across our channel brands, and competitors' performance.
Work closely with Advertising and Affiliates Sales on new and existing opportunities to ensure clients' objectives are met.
Create and maintain monthly promotional priorities for commissioning of promos and liaise with On-Air-Promo, Marketing, Digital and Presentation teams to engage audience to our channels and brands.
Approve censorship reports to ensure that all programs aired on the A+E Networks' channels adhere to the Television Codes of Malaysia and Singapore, while ensuring that the programs' storylines and integrity are not compromised.

Skills and Experience

A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in program scheduling.
Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication, Media or equivalent.
Excellent work attitude, attention to details, sensitive to deadlines, a competitive spirit and passion for television – with a critical eye for television viewing habits.
Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative, autonomous while still being collaborative and open-minded.
Good interpersonal skills and a team player, able to work under pressure.
Good understanding of the viewing trends and cultures of key countries in Asia.
Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
Good excel skills.
Experience in the Acquisitions and Planning modules of IBMS is advantageous
Familiarity with television research software is a bonus (Infosys+ from Kantar Media, Arianna from AGB Nielsen and Evogenius from GFK)

Executive, Client Services

AETN is looking for an energetic and experienced Executive, Client Services to be a part of our Ad Sales Solutions team. This person will be a key member of the Advertising Sales team, across markets and clients to contribute to the overall growth of the advertising sales business and build strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience in client servicing/account management with good inter-personal skills and be able to handle multiple tasks and projects skillfully under tight deadlines.

Reports to: Manager, Sales Solutions & Client Services
Interface with:
• Internal: Advertising salespersons, Traffic, Marketing, Production, Programming and Finance departments
• External: Clients and agencies

Responsibilities

Key point person with clients and sales offices across markets on campaign executions
Coordinate between departments on campaign fulfillments
Support multiple salespeople across markets to meet and exceed client's expectations for advertising sales campaigns
Work closely with Traffic, Research, Finance and Marketing teams to monitor campaign progress and performance
Compile post-campaign reports for major events
Generate generic sales proposals and tent pole show proposals
Draft media plans for sales pitches and finalized campaigns

Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years' working experience within a Sales media environment
Experience/knowledge of TV & Film industries considered advantageous
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced work environment, under tight deadlines
Highly motivated, energetic, efficient, pro-active, great interpersonal communication skills
